Here's an interesting article released by ACSM a couple months ago that the recent study of the American College of Sports Medicine found that Walking dogs attributed to health benefits for their owners.Well, its been proved to myself and I have no doubt about it. I lost about 5kg since started walking Max.Its fun and a good exercise. If your planing to go on a diet, walk a dog. (I suggest a big dog lol) A small dog won't do any good. You need to be dragged around.
What really amazed me by reading this article is that those who participated in this study (from Baltimore and seattle)walk their dogs average of only 25minutes per week! and of 30 percent of owners spent NO time walking their dogs. That maybe the reason why the american government stepped into a diet pillfor the dog. Its so sad.
